Get to Know Dr. Baher Khattar Mhithawi
Born and raised in Damascus, Syria, Dr. Baher discovered his passion for dentistry through his love of beauty, confidence, and the power of a great smile.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
He earned his dental degree from Damascus University and later practiced in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at one of the most prestigious Dental offices of the Arab gulf area. After leaving Syria because of the war, he moved to the United States in pursuit of professional growth and a better future for his family. Becoming a licensed dentist in the U.S. was a long and challenging journey that required years of exams, advanced training, sacrifice, and perseverance.
His AEGD training in Cleveland exposed him to comprehensive and complex dentistry, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, surgery, crowns, implants, orthodontics, and full-mouth treatment planning. Cleveland remains a very special chapter in his life.
Today, Dr. Baher is especially passionate about cosmetic dentistry, implants, veneers, crowns, and clear aligner therapy. His goal is simple: to understand each patient’s needs, solve their dental problems, and help them achieve a healthy, confident smile.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Family is at the heart of his life. Together with his wife, whom he describes as his angel, he is raising their 3 children with love, kindness, balance, and ambition. His greatest dream is to build an advanced cosmetic dental center and eventually create a family legacy in dentistry.
